Pubs Archives

Here are the Pre WWII Plymouth pubs known to exist in the Three Towns of Plymouth, Stonehouse and Devonport in 1939. They are listed by license held - full public house license, wine and spirits only, and those licensed to sell beer only. There is a link to those pubs still trading today, where applicable. CAMRA login is not required.

We also have the Lost Pubs Of Plymouth, which is a selected list of pubs that have been lost since 1994, with a full list of those that have ceased to be pubs since 2010. There is also a brief history about some of these pubs. CAMRA login is not required.

The Plymouth CAMRA Pub Name Archive, where we have attempted to list all known names used in public houses, beer houses, ale houses and bars in the Plymouth CAMRA branch area. This has taken many years of extensive research and is only available to CAMRA members - login is required. Sorry!

Brewery Archives

The Lost Breweries Of The South West lists all known former breweries in the Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Gloucestershire including Bristol and Wiltshire, listed by county. There is a brief history shown for most of the breweries, along with the years of operation and closure where known. CAMRA login is not required.

This shows our Pub and Brewery News Archive from 2013, listed by year and month, the most recent is listed at the top of the page. Please click on the month to view the news reported at that months meeting. CAMRA login is not required.
